I have been an artist all of my life. I live in Northbrook, IL, a town just north of Chicago. I am a father of six amazing and very creative kids - now all adults. My wife, Karie, is an award winning photojournalist.
In addition to being an artist, I am bass player in the rocking band Counterpoint, a cycling instructor, and a former football coach. Casablanca is my favorite movie, The Rolling Stones are my favorite band, High West Double Rye and Casamigos are my preferred beverages, and The Master and Margarita is my favorite book.
For me, art is rhythm, color, and beauty. It is never timid. It should grab you. Complimentary colors should vibrate. You should be drawn in by graceful lines and "s" curves. It should feel like almost a musical experience.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you like what you see. And always remember to "Put a Little Art in Your Life, You'll Feel Better!"
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
